I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
A little while back my hubby and I found out that we are going to be Mommy and Daddy come September 20th!
Its a very exciting and happy time for both of us.
I'm posting today because today I took my very first "bump" photo....and then I wasn't sure what to do with it!
Of course I will print it for myself to keep (that's a given), but its funny how in these modern times of facebook, instagram, twitter, blogs, etc, etc... we feel that we have to share our pictures with other immediately or else it was pointless to take it...
I'm not shaming those who take pics and share them on these outlets, I'm just making an observation related to the way documenting life has gone from something very personal, to something very public in these grand ol' days of the internet and social networking.
Since I didn't feel like posting on facebook, twitter or instagram I decided to post here instead.
I can see why everyone wants to share their pics with the friends and family right away. It's because they're happy and excited! But how much sharing is too much?
I don't know the answer to this question.
For now I am sharing one pic.
"Hello little baby bump!"
Maybe later I will post more as my bump grows.
Maybe I won't.
I'm not sure how I feel about it quite yet....
I'm fickle like that ;)
Hello, Im fascinated by your blog, partially because I am involved in a bet to see if I could build a victorian house that "feels right" I would like to solicit your help.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find such delightful photos, do you know where these houses are.
If you are interested in being part of a challenge, email me at nielson_s@yahoo.com, if not I will fully understand

ReplyDeleteYou look oh so beautiful, your 'hubby' is one lucky man. He must love you more than life itself.
